We here at Wild At Heart Ojai are spending more time in the kitchen and sharing our love for healing guts through lacto-fermentation. You all purchased everything we have brought to the markets, especially in the last month!! We are so lucky and thankful to get to do it all again each week for you. Love what you do, friends.

Last week I competed in the Santa Barbara Fermentation Festival Cocktail Competition, celebrating 75 years of the Moscow Mule and took 1st place in the amateur division with my Wild Mule. This SUNDAY is the 6th Annual Santa Barbara Fermentation Festival and we are just bubbling with excitement to present our new line of Bio-Sodas’. This is a refined gut delight by culturing the solar plexus probiotics of raw organic ginger and turmeric that can then be enjoyed as a probiotic gut shoot or as a mixer-elixir to your favorite spirit. We will also have our limited run of in-season probiotic salsa and hot sauce that is flying off our farmers market booth. Let’s not forget our oh-so-good-for-you (even doctors are recommending ours to their patients) sauerkrauts, which are loaded with trillions of beneficial gut bacteria.

Remember if you want to guarantee your favorite fermented item will be there when you get to the market, you can always pre-purchase your order online by selecting “local pick-up(Free)” and in the order notes, designate your farmers market pick-up location.

Many of you have asked when is my next set of workshops, I am  happy to announce my Fall Schedule. If the below times and dates do not match up with your schedule there is also the option of group workshops, where you gather 4-9 people and I come to you!
You get to pick a location (my commercial kitchen or your home kitchen), time, date and specifically what you would like to learn to ferment. I have done many of these in the past and we always have so much fun! See workshop page for more information.
